  • 2 Days Trip to visit “Pitawala Pathana” & “Kukulamalapotha”

Few years ago we build a “Kuti” in Kukulamalapotha area & donate to Monks. Several monks lived there time to time & from last two months of time no one there. Therefore we plan to visit there & clean the place before this years “Was Period”. Then we start our journey on 10.30 p.m on March 7th & reached to Pitawala Pathana around 4.30 a.m. We took little rest there until 5.45 a.m. First we visit to Pitawala Pathana as 1st visitors of the day but without tickets. We highly enjoyed beautiful morning views there. We spent big time there & went to see “Wedda Peni Ella”. So far 30 people lost their life’s there. In one incident 7 people from 2 families died there in last year. So pls try to not give 31st life to the list. We spent couple of hours there & came to Illukkumbura. From there we came to Kukulamalapotha village. We have to walk another couple of kilometers to reach to “Kutiya”. Soon we reached there we start the cleaning work of in & surrounding area of “Kutiya”. We carried food stuff to prepare our meals & one of our friends can cook. Finally he became our master chef. Thanks to him we got our meals in star level. While we work he prepared our lunch. We took little break for our lunch & work couple of  hours continuously. In the  evening we had good bath after doing cleaning work. We prepared our dinner & went to sleep after tiring day. At night very cold & we didn’t had very good sleep. Next day morning we waked up around 6.00 a.m & first we prepared our breakfast. After having it we completed remaining cleaning work. Around 2.30 p.m we prepared our lunch & had good bath at Thelgamu Oya. We spent nearly 1 hour there & came back. After having lunch we prepared to leave from there. We started our return journey on 5.30 p.m & came back to home around 12.30 a.m. We completed another memorable trip with lots of happy memories.
